Course Brief
Digital painting is commonly used in visual effects post production workflows. From a local TV commercial ad film to Hollywood visual effects there are variety of creative demands which can be catered by a Digital Painting Artist. Some of the responsibilities that an Individual can choose as a job are Paint Artist, VFX Cleanup Artist, Prep Artist, as well as Paint Artist for Stereo Pre Painting also known as Occluded Surface Recreation Artist and Stereo Conversion Paint Artist.
VFX 101- Digital Paint course covers digital painting techniques such as Cleanplate, Frame by Frame texture animation, Track, Grid warp, and node based compositing. these techniques can cater to Visual effects and Stereo Conversion process to deliver tasks such as Wire and Rig Removals, Patch work and character cleanup, Set extension as well as occluded surface recreation.
Structure
Short Term; 02 Months Classroom Training and 10 Months Industrial Training.

- Silhouette FX – For manual Sequence and automated Paint.
- Fusion – For node based Paint through Match move, Patchwork and Compositing methods.
